Welcome to the SWEBELUX-NOBELUX Chamber of Commerce!

SWEBELUX-NOBELUX Chamber of Commerce is the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and in Luxembourg. The Chamber of Commerce is also acting as the Nordic Chamber of Commerce in these countries.

The Chamber of Commerce was founded in Stockholm (Sweden) in 1997 in order to create a high level networking platform for its members and to assist Swedish and Nordic companies to find new business contacts, to establish their businesses and to develop new or their existing businesses in these two countries. We are a meeting place for business contacts, social networking and marketing, we are also a local resource for companies.

SWEBELUX-NOBELUX Chamber of Commerce is an independent membership organization and we are in close cooperation with the public authorities and other official organizations that are interested in fostering business, trade and economic relations for business development.

The Chamber of Commerce offers companies all the services and support that is needed to establish a company, its products or ideas in these markets, or to develop their businesses on these markets. Our main objective is to establish a qualified meeting place for our members, to offer companies the opportunities to promote their businesses and to identify new business opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises which have the potential to grow internationally. We, therefore, support companies from Sweden and the other Nordic countries to enter the Belgian and Luxembourg markets.

The Chamber’s objectives are to:

  • provide a  qualified networking platform for its members
  • provide a platform for members to exchange knowledge and experiences, to get informed about new developments on the market,  to promote and profile their businesses within our network
  • represent the business interests of its members towards the local authorities and administrations.
  • provide tailor-made business services to companies (members and non-members) that are searching for business contacts or partners, wishing to set up a new  business or to develop existing business in any of the countries we are working with.

NOBELUX Chamber of Commerce in Luxembourg

In 2002, SWEBELUX-NOBELUX Chamber of Commerce established a branch office in Luxembourg. The Chamber of Commerce offers a great business networking platform for the Swedish companies in Luxembourg. It is also a great networking platform for the Nordic companies based in Luxembourg, as well as the local companies in Luxembourg which are doing business with or wishing to develop their businesses in the Nordic countries. In addition, the Chamber of Commerce provides business services to Swedish and Nordic companies which are searching for business contacts or partners, wishing to establish a new business or to develop existing business in any of these two markets.

NOBELUX Chamber of Commerce in Brussels

In October 2010, SWEBELUX-NOBELUX Chamber of Commerce established its branch office in Brussels in order to cover the Belgian market more efficiently. The Chamber 's mission is to establish a business a unique networking platform for the Swedish and Swedish related companies in Belgium. He Chamber of Commerce also provides a high level networking platform for the Nordic businesses and Nordic professionals in Belgium. This networking platform also includes Belgian companies and Belgian professionals that are interested in or doing business with the Nordic countries. The Chamber of Commerce also provides help and assistance to the Swedish and Nordic companies searching for business contacts or partners, wanting to establish a new business or to develop their businesses in any of these two markets.

Membership Activities

SWEBELUX-NOBELUX Chamber of Commerce organizes monthly business networking events and other specific events with high level profile guest speakers (company leaders, experts and politicians). These events provide members with valuable business opportunities to network, to brand their businesses, to exchange knowledge and experiences with colleagues and other professionals and to keep its members informed about the developments in the market.

The SWEBELUX-NOBELUX Chamber of Commerce LinkedIn group provides an additional networking platform for its members.

The Committees

The Committees will play an essential role for the Chamber’s activities especially in Belgium. The committees contribute with their knowledge and experiences in identifying and choosing interesting topics and common business issues, which can be raised and addressed at special events, which the committees organize. The committee’s members will meet on a regular basis and organize the events in cooperation with the Chamber secretariat, which will coordinate these events. The committee system encourages co-operation between members within the same industry, across industries or within the same profession. The committees also serve as a networking platform between its members and it allows them to exchange their knowledge and experiences.

  • Assistance in setting up holding companies and funds (we can assist you in establishing own representation structure or through other local partners/agents).

  • Relocation services (we provide all the help and assistance needed, in finding an office or housing as well as handling all the related registration and administration tasks required)
  • Organization of conferences, seminars, business forums, business meetings and other PR-related activities (we can assist in organizing such events according to individual company needs)
  • Organization of study trips (these can often be of great help to get useful information about the market or a specific area of business, find out if it there is really a market for your product(s) and establish interesting contacts with potential partners or clients)
  • V.A.T recuperation (we assist companies to recover V.A.T in any of these countries)
