Our Chamber in cooperation with some of our members (Nordic assets managers in Luxembourg) has established the “Nordic Fund Forum Luxembourg”. This is an informal meeting place for Nordic Asset managers and investors based in Luxembourg and some based in the Nordic countries but working closely with Luxembourg. The networking platform allows them to meet on a regular basis with experts in order to discuss interesting issues related to the asset management industry, and to network with colleagues.

These gatherings take place on monthly basis in Luxembourg. A LinkedIn group has also been created to facilitate debates and exchanges of information.

In order to develop the network in the Nordic countries and in order to attract new asset management companies and investors to Luxembourg, a roadshow with 3 conferences are being organized on:

-          3 March in Stockholm

-          4 March in Helsinki

-          5 March in Oslo

The conferences will showcase what Luxembourg fund industry can offers Nordic asset managers seeking to streamline UCITS and hedge fund activities and reach a global audience. You will have the opportunity to interface with well-known industry experts, as well as with local asset managers that have chosen Luxembourg as home for all or some of their fund activities.

The half day program will cover:

  • Luxembourg fund market opportunities
  • UCITS and AIFMD regulatory developments
  • Overview of management and infrastructure solutions available
  • Distribution models
